Just to let you know, if Schilling does go with either route, he gets paid. His contract is uninsured so he could even decide to retire in April and still get his money. I would have to agree that Schilling is a few good seasons from the Hall but I feel is he went with the expert doctor, he might actually be able to achieve those couple years. He would have to work very hard to get back into pitching shape but I think because of the drive that he has, he could pull it off.
